Story
Hatsumomidi was established in 1819 by the Harada family.
Over the centuries, the brewery has endured significant challenges, including wartime damage during World War II.
Despite periods of hardship and temporary suspension of brewing, the passion to produce sake for the local community never disappeared. In 2006, the brewery resumed full-scale production under renewed leadership, redefining its brand while maintaining its historical foundation.
As Japan's national drink, Japanese sake has earned a reputation as the 'cure-all elixir,' believed to promote both physical and mental wellness, and bring a sense of calm to people's daily lives.
Their aim is to support the growth of the local community, and they strive every day to enhance their knowledge and skills, overcoming the obstacles encountered on their journey.
Hatsumomidi has dedicated to contributing to the local community, and as a company values tradition and history, even as its staff trains to bring innovation for the future.
