KANEISHUZOTEN Co., LTD

Founded in 1868, KANEISHUZOTEN was founded by Riki Sano to become a distinguished sake brewery representing Hadano City, Kanagawa Prefecture, after more than 150 years of continuous efforts and innovations. Hadano City, where the brewery is located, is surrounded by mountains, and the environment allows for abundant mineral-rich water that has been selected as one of "Japan's 100 remarkable waters" by the Ministry of the Environment. In 2023, Kokohada LAB Inc., a company dedicated to community revitalization, took over the entire shares of Kaneishuzoten with Mr. Shiino stepping in as chairman.

With the concept of "brewing for the future," the brewery aims to carry the timeless essence of sake into the future by questioning the true essence of excellent sake.

The brewery has developed region-specific products such as "Shonan Gold," a liqueur made using the locally treasured citrus fruit Shonan Gold, and "Kamikaze Rock," featuring Odawara-grown limes. The aim of the brewery includes the introduction of new "笹 (Sasa)" series products, brewery tours, and various other projects.
