The Brewery
Founded in 1772, Imazato Brewery, located in Hasami Town, Nagasaki, is known for its pottery. Surrounded by 400-meter-high mountains, the area has a cool, mild climate ideal for sake brewing. The brewery has received high praise domestically and internationally for its high-quality and consistent sake, including first place in the Fukuoka Regional Taxation Bureau’s sake competition and multiple gold medals in Japan’s National Sake Competition.
